FINANCIAL ANALYST

Job Description

The Financial Analyst will work closely with senior team members on all stages of the deal process. The successful candidate will be a seasoned investment banking professional with 1-3 years of transactional experience, ideally in the AEC industry or with project finance experience.  In addition, this role will also include working with our senior team to conduct due diligence for clients, assisting with debt and equity raise, performing financial valuations and preparing materials including management and lender presentations, confidential information memoranda and other key deliverables for clients.  This role will include the upkeep and reporting of our pipeline of current clients and prospects, buyer/seller list, projects and more.  Research and strategic reporting of key industry changes and trends will be an important role for the ideal candidate.

 

The analyst will be a major contributor to the investment banking and consulting divisions of Keystone Global and will look to help grow the team and ultimately lead to the future success of Keystone.

 

The analyst is a highly motivated, personable and versatile individual and is eager to expand their knowledge of the ever-changing and complex industry.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Support Client Engagements including various task orders and deliverables

  • Manage internal upkeep of various buyers including both strategic firms and private equity companies

  • Develop strong report with lenders, including private investors and larger banks to support overall activities of KSG

  • Generate and manage internal databases related to general research of public companies, precedent transactions, updated economic projections, winning bidders in various states, new funding and updated sources of Federal, State and local funding and other important key AEC developing news items – in support of both advisors and strategies

  • Develop financial models for projects and corporate transactions

  • Research and develop strategic consulting reports considering client deliverable requirements (i.e. target co research and/or state/US specific economic or project specific market data)

  • Strategic Focus for growth initiatives for both project finance and transaction opportunities

  • Drafting presentations and materials, including teasers, CIMs, and transaction announcements

 

Qualifications:

Minimum Requirements

  • 1-3 years of work experience in the infrastructure, AEC or finance related industries

  • Financial Modeling experience

  • Critical thinker who can quickly evaluate and analyze companies and financial information

  • Passionate and hard work-ethic

  • Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook)

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Strong interpersonal skills and high personal integrity

 

Desired Experience/Skills

  • Major and background in finance

  • Experience in construction

  • Series 79 and 63 certifications

 

Work Location: Jericho, NY or Irvine/Los Angeles, CA
